School character design work for senior project. Since I'm playing a druid in Nick's new campaign I decided to design my character, so I could have fun while getting graded.
Her name is Dama. The player's handbook suggested I make her turn into something four-legged and furry, but I figured there are too many of those druids running around, so I decided she turns into a fallow deer. A male fallow deer!
Now that school work is done I can focus on work work...yay!
Ahhh shes so pretty, I'm listening to Beethoven's 6th sympony and it fits so perfectly to this image

my previous favorite of yours was the magic battle in the sky, until this. GREAT piece. D&D campaign, or something else? I am considering getting the 4th edition books... not sure yet.
For future reference, this is considered painting not simply coloring, I assume (non artist here, my apologies)?
While this whole thing is very compositionally sound and I love your colors and details and everything (as usual), I am particularly giddy about the nose you gave her. It looks a bit Native American. I love how you individualize characters with features that aren't always glamorous or stereotypical! Rockin'.
Awesome! The quality of the light is great, and I love how you've rendered her so solidly. The dark skin with the light hair like that goes really well together.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
