=alexds1 was the first to commission me yesterday.. these are her three vunderbar characters Pinter, Luca and Amen from her comic The Meek. I had a ton of fun painting them. I don't have many (adult) male chars myself, so I don't often get to paint menfolk.

If anybody else would like a painted character portrait, they are $25 right now *hint hint hint* I need to put food on my family!

You have a beautiful shading style! I've never seen one like it. All the layers of different colors blend in practically perfect. What program do you use? Do you have any tutorials explained how you shade like that?

I use Photoshop Cs3 :) I have a few tutorials in my gallery. mostly I just use the eyedropper tool a lot and paint in opaque layers.
