This is for my friend ~carcadann

I was looking at telephone polls and the sort of black gunk that's been built up over the decades from hundreds and hundreds of band posters and "lost cat" signs. Seems like a great natural environment for the sort of fairy that likes to cling to tacky surfaces. The Paper Fairy's natural camouflage lets him blend into the pole so that he can feast on the deeply embedded staples, a good source of zinc. He has to be well hidden, for his food source is usually at eye level in crowded areas. These little guys can be seen mainly at night; if you watch closely, you'll see the surface move ever so slightly.
Hope you like it Autumn
