I wanted to do a painting based on the aesthetic concept of wabi-sabi, the transient nature of all things. It's a forgotten koi pond in ruins :D However because I am the Sensei of Eye Rape, I included some hot pink trees.

Hey, if those art house kung fu movies can give us strange colored trees with their mystic environments, I can accept pink trees at the hidden koi pond. I like it, it's the right mix of colors and for some reason I can even hear the running water.

Ugh, you need to stop being awesome. You have the best colors/ execution/ ideas in general... I guess the only thing my eye really want more from this is maybe more detail on the water surface? or depth or something, the fish almost looks like its on the water rather than in it. But other than that this is extremely eye pleasing and warrants an emoticon cake
