Commission for *viper13 of his Thorns characters, Viktor the Badass Blacksmith and Bear the Emo Hunter. I rarely get to draw guys with big muscles, and it was both fun and terrifying.

For interested parties, that is Bear's bander wolf, Quinn. It's a canine species in my RPG. Please don't judge the wolf. :< I don't draw them too often and it was next to impossible to get a pose without ripping off some existing picture, so I did the best I could with my (limited) knowledge of wolf anatomy, and it ended up taking longer than the whole rest of the pic...blah.

I feel awful for continuing to use this paper texture, but even though I don't know where it came from, it's the best one I have. If it's yours, please let me know so I can credit you! I'm having guilt pangs :(

At first I thought the guy on the left was only wearing the apron, and I was thinking, "Hey yeah you're manly 8D"

But the beard on the right man is just narly. So cool.

Blacksmiths are among a small class of men who look manly wearing an apron. The other group is barbecue/grill chefs.

I am the RPG equivalent of a black hole (ie. I suck at them), but every time I poke a look into Thorns I do so have this desire to join!

Nice mens, by the way. The sepia is what makes them manly.
