Happy 4th of July! I'm still having trouble accessing the net, so all you Thornies, please be patient with me. (Also sorry if this posts more than once, I am trying several times.)
News: I wrote to Pringles co to compliment a sidebar ad they did: [link] (hint: keep clicking, it doesn't take you anywhere but it's awesome)
They were so happy I wrote to them that they said they'd pass my email around the office and keep it in mind for future ad campaigns! I'm not sure why this excites me so much, but it was cool to get an actual letter from a huge company as opposed to a form email.
It's not what I want to do in life, but I think I could probably find some job satisfaction in advertising. I have to hope that I don't end up there, though.. illustration is my first and true love.
The pringles thing isn't the most exciting thing that's happened to me lately, but I figured I should write about something other than Thorns and art for once.
