Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

commission update october

Hi guys

Due to some craziness (which you probably don't know about unless you're on Thorns or one of my friends) I have been having some difficulty handling my entire life, but I am plugging away and hope to have every single one of my September+earlier commissions finished by the end of the month. I have started my October queue and finished several of the pieces owed, but I still owe many of you your character portraits. As I only took on October commissions on the condition that they have no required time constraints, this is hopefully not too big of an issue. Don't worry, everything will be done in time for the holidays.

Those were officially the last large-batch commissions I will ever take. In the future I won't be able to commit to any schedule for small jobs, so it's not really fair to take them anymore. My price list is officially not applicable anymore. I am still somewhat available for larger, long-term commissions.

In the "real jobs" front (ie, not DA), I find myself suddenly swamped with requests, as well as one very exciting prospect that I can't talk about yet. It's been chaos here at the Thunder Cave, but I'm looking forward to the Halloween costume party (I'm still going as Mrs. Lovett) as a tiny bit of respite from the business of my life right now.

I don't know if it's the slow upward shift in the economy or what, but I've been getting better commission offers from offline, too. Hope it keeps up for the both of us. *figuratively crosses fingers*

Good for you!! I know for most people it's harder than ever to find jobs, but I've actually seen an increase in work since 2008... knock on wood, don't wanna jinx it but it's been good so far. Hope things continue to go well for you.
