Frenemies

This was a really fun image to do! This illustration is going in the Thorns calendar, which the amazing *unwanderinggirl is putting together. I don't do sunny beach scenes very often so this was very challenging...I think I painted and repainted that water about a dozen times.

The characters are my Iale DuPont (the redhead) and Lacey Lovell, who is played by ~AussieMum. Iale and Lacey are old enemies who have ended up working together.
